Finely framed and matted handwritten letter signed by G. W. Lillie (Pawnee Bill), dated Dec. 10, 1928 (shortly before his death – 1860-1928); framing also includes a color print of Lillie and brass plaque “MajorGordon W. Lillie “Pawnee Bill”. The Major was a hunter, trapper and interpreter for the Pawnee Indians; he was also Buffalo Bill Cody’s partner in the Wild West Show business. Est.: $600-$1,200.
